J.B. Millhollin was born in Southwest Iowa and attended Law School at the University of Nebraska.
He began his practice in Corning, Iowa where he remained in practice for 41 years. He retired from his Iowa practice in 2012.
Millhollin, along with his wife now reside in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee.
During his time in Corning he was elected and reelected to the position of Adams County Attorney serving almost 30 years. In addition, he had his own private practice and also owned and operated Corning Title Company.
His daughter , Adrienne, is Director of Sales with the Nashville Convention and Visitors Bureau. Millhollin’s son is with Homeland Security.
His interests, in addition to writing, include owner interests in thoroughbred horses, running an occasional 5k, spending time with family, and traveling.
But his emphasis is and probably always will be, the creation of an interesting story, laced with a little humor, combined with a small amount of violence and eventually coming to a creative conclusion.
